Snow Removal In Regina

This year, I decided that I would be a good citizen. I would, I pledged to myself, keep my sidewalks clean. It's only a matter of time until it's mandatory for homeowners, so why not get a head start?

On Saturday morning, I woke up to this:

Just to be clear, my sidewalks looked like this on Friday night.



That's the front of my house on Saturday morning, the other shots are of the side. Just below that is the storm drain. I've been keeping that clear all winter, because my street has a tendency to flood when the melt starts because all the drains are clogged. Guess what I woke up to this morning?

Yeah, so the POINT of keeping my sidewalks and drains clear is what, exactly? It wouldn't be so bad if they had removed the snow in a timely manner, but I think they are waiting for spring.
